I was in Atlanta from 14 to 20 May. In fact that was my first trip ever to USA!
I have to say that i discovered a whole new world for me...Oh yeah! I'm in the other side of the planet.
It was different in so many ways :
Obviously the sun rises in USA when it's night in Tunisia, which explain why i was so sleepy when everybody else was just fine :P
I loved the fact that everybody knows about my country ! Two years ago, if you say that you are from Tunisia to an american guy, he would say :" What? Malaysia ??"
But now, they are curious to know about it and about the revolution.
Before travelling, i was afraid that people wont be nice to me because i'm muslim veiled girl and the Ben laden death story just came up at that time.
Americans had a hard time and i thought that may be the bad memories would influence the way they look at me , but i was mistaken ! They were , at least those i met, soooo nice to me and very friendly , I'm very grateful for that :)
Americans are so proud of who they are. That really impressed me.
Atlanta is a very Big beautiful city ! At least it looks big for the girl coming from the small country ( But great nation of course).
BUT there must be something bad about that country!! At least one !!! Can't be perfect!
Coffee SUCKS in the states :S If you are a caffeine addict like me, you gonna suffer in the states.
Food portions are huge , some of you would find it good but believe me it's huge. No one needs that much of food!
And finally Money :D You have to tip for everything : in restaurants, when you take a cab...
So basically , it was a great trip, i had so much fan and i made new friends.
I'll definetly visit USA again :)
